Our Sunday School Kickoff will be on Sunday, September 8. The Children's Sunday School hour will begin with music with Greg Landburg from 9:30 a.m. - 9:50 a.m., followed by Sunday School from 9:50 a.m. - 10:30 a.m. Adult Sunday School will start at 9:30 a.m.Adult offerings:
Exploring Faithful Presence: Join us Sunday mornings at 9:30 a.m. in the Parlor as we seek to grow in the spiritual practice of being present. Why might presence be important to the Christian life? How do we become more present in our bodies, relationships, and the physical spaces we inhabit? What inhibits our ability to practice faithful presence? We plan to engage these questions through action and contemplation this semester, drawing on diverse voices to inform us and allowing the experiences/desires of the group to guide us.
Sunday Sandwiches: Sunday Sandwiches meets after worship in Forbes Parlor. The class welcomes members and visitors for a time of fellowship and study after worship. A light lunch of sandwiches and chips is provided (donations welcome). The class will begin its fall semester on September 15 with a study of The Kingdom, the Power, and the Glory: American Evangelicals in an Age of Extremism by Tim Alberta.
