The first half is a steady climb, with the steady decline to look forward to on the return journey!
We are walking in reverse to the advertised walk, so we will head to Calstone Wellington, through Ranscombe Bottom, and then up towards the Lansdowne Monument before heading down to Cherhill, and we will cross the road carefully a couple of times as we will have a look at the cup stone, for those that haven't seen it.
As there are cattle, this will be a dog free walk.
