Make your Sunday more ropey and come tie with us every first Sunday at the spacious Nirvana Studios LA which offers over 9,000 square feet of play space, equipped with countless suspension points, luscious chill beats in the background and dim lighting to set the atmosphere.
Rope Jams are designed with no set criteria or formal lesson plan. Single, partnered, beginner or advanced, Rope Jams offer great opportunities to meet people in the rope community, peer share, discuss and practice what you learned in class. Lets celebrate the rich culture of Shibari!
Things you should bring:
- Rope
- Yoga mat or exercise tiles to tie on if you prefer your own, we have plenty mats/carpet
- Comfortable clothing for rope
- Aftercare needs
Water bottles will be offered free of charge. Loaner rope will be on hand, also available for purchase.
Emergency supplies will be on site in the form of safety shears and a first aid kit.
Photography will be allowed, we will have photo lights available. When taking photos please always make sure you have the affirmative consent of everybody in the frame.
- This is not a play party, but a playful jam
- Be respectful towards other guests
- No glitter
- No wax play
- Please ask for consent before shaking hands, hugging, touching guests or their property
- Don't speak loudly and allow other guests a degree of intimacy
