Sunday of Good Courage
The beginning of a new year often comes wrapped in hope. We make plans, set goals and imagine fresh starts. But once the festivities are over and everyday life settles back in, many people realize that not much has really changed. The same challenges remain, and that initial enthusiasm slowly fades into tiredness or frustration.
If that sounds familiar, you’re not alone.
God told Joshua, “Be strong and of good courage” (Joshua 1:6–7).
God’s words reminded him that true courage comes from trusting Him, even when the task seems impossible.
This is why, on Sunday 11th January, the ‘Sunday of Good Courage’ will be taking place at The Universal Church in Fresno. It’s a special day for anyone who feels tired, unmotivated, or unsure if real change is possible this year.
We will also partake of the Lord’s Supper — a powerful opportunity to renew your faith and strength for the year ahead.
Come as you are, and leave strengthened, encouraged, and ready to move forward.
Sunday 11th January at 10am (also at 7am)
We will wait for you at the building B of our Cathedral.
