A pop singer named Cléo anxiously awaits the results of a biopsy, unsure of what the future holds. In the two hours leading up to the results, she spends time with friends and wanders through Paris, searching for comfort and answers. Along the way, Cléo has meaningful encounters that shift her perspective, ultimately helping her come to terms with her fears and emotions. The film captures her journey of self-reflection and the passage of time in a city full of life.
