Join us on Sunday, March 9, 2025, starting at 10 AM at The Battlegrounds for our Sunday Morning R/C Competition!
Prizes will be awarded to the top three positions and everyone attending will have the chance to win over $500 of items in giveaways!
During these comps, we will have six courses total—three for Class 2 and three separate courses for Class 2.5.
Drivers can choose to enter Class 2 or Class 2.5, and we trust our community to compete honestly. However, if you’ve won at The BG more than twice, made the podium more than four times, or are a sponsored driver, you’ll automatically be placed in Class 2.5.
Class 2 is more for those newer to crawling, are comfortable competing at this skill level, and/or running more moderately built rigs.
$25 per driver using your own crawler or $35 per driver with a rental included in comp admission. All ages are welcome!!
1/24th scale course will be open and available during all comps during the evening.
Competition Rules for 1/10 Scale:
- 10 progress gates. Plus start and finish gates (gates are 12” wide) that do count as 10 points if they are struck.
- 8 minute time period allowed for all 3 courses
- Tires must be under 4.85” and 2.2” max on wheel size (tires can be siped, grooved or trimmed)
- Full body must be run. No cab only trucks, cabs must be 4.25” from the top of the cab to the bottom of the door to run in Class 2. Flat beds are allowed. Bed must be as long as frame rails.
- Dovetails are allowed (must be ½” from widest part of cab)
- Rail chassis only (No tube frames)
- Must have a front bumper. Can be mounted on a truck or molded into the body but must be wider than the frame rails.
- Rear bumpers are NOT required.
The only rule difference between the rules for running Class 2 vs Class 2.5 is that the body must be at least 4.25” from the top of the cab to the bottom of the door to be able to run in Class 2.
