About this Event

As our lives become more fast-paced and we find ourselves under greater pressure, it is all too common to experience fear and anxiety or to simply be overwhelmed by the stresses and demands of modern life. Fear of failure, fear of missing out, fear of rejection, fear of loss and change - the list seems endless! And in such circumstances it is easy to think that there is no possible way to safeguard against these fears.

Buddha taught that the real source of fear is to be found within our own mind – so if we wish to be free from fear, we must learn to control our mind. In this brief half-day course, learn methods to overcome the inner causes of fear and begin a journey towards mental peace. Discover simple, creative ways to respond to adversities that naturally give rise to a positive outlook and an inner resilience that cannot be shaken by the challenges that life brings.

This course will include guided meditations, advice on how to maintain a peaceful mind in daily life, and the opportunity to ask questions.

Everyone is welcome and no prior experience is necessary.

Spaces are available for both in-person and online attendance (live-streamed and available to watch for 7 days).

Course Timetable

About the Teacher

Kelsang Rabka was appointed as the Resident Teacher of KMC Singapore in mid 2020. He is an Australian Buddhist monk who has been studying and practicing Kadampa Buddhism with Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche and his senior disciples for 13 years, and has taught both in Australia and the UK.

The clarity and warmth in his teachings has helped many students experience the practical benefits of modern Kadampa Buddhism in their daily lives.
