Key projects like “Pachamama” and “Euneirophrenia” paved the way for a pivotal moment in his career with the 2021 release of “Jivanmuktih” on Rebellion, Crosstown Rebels’ offshoot. This period marked a creative rebirth, revealing a matured musical intuition defined by seductive blends of deep, minimal, eclectic, and hypnotic house. His sound unfolds like a mantra—meditative, free-flowing, and deeply connected to nature, where subtle details carry profound emotional weight.
Guided by his Yoga practice and the philosophy of the Yamas, YokoO channels his commitment to truth into his label SATYA, a platform dedicated to uncompromising creativity and artistic freedom. His ongoing evolution as both artist and human fuels a process rooted in authenticity, resulting in unpredictable yet deeply communicative music. The Practice of Arrival: A Community Sound Ritual with Johanna Olivas (Luna Serenity)
A community healing practice rooted in breath, gentle touch, and sound. In March’s theme of Arriving, we slow down and land fully in the body, resetting the nervous system and remembering that presence is a collective practice. We’ll move through a tactile self-soothing sequence, grounding breathwork, a simple group ritual for shared intention, and a deeply restorative soundbath to integrate and restore.
