We know it is the first weekend of football. Last year, management was worried we wouldn't be able to compete with football, but, we proved them wrong. The last afternoon game is finished by the time we start and they will have the evening game on the big screen TVs for you to watch if you so choose. Football and jazz DO go together!!Please join The EQNX Jazztet for some late afternoon/early evening jazz this Sunday September 7th. The EQNX Jazztet performs for the first hour and then the jam session starts after that. We appreciate the continued support that the community has shown us.
Flatiron Albuquerque (6001 San Mateo Blvd NE) is a full service Restaurant and Bar that has a wide range of selections and excellent service too. Make sure you get there early, as Flatiron is a first come, first serve venue. No reservations, no cover, and always family friendly.
MUSICIANS: ARRIVE EARLY BECAUSE THE SIT-IN LIST FILLS UP VERY FAST!!! IF YOU SHOW UP AT 6:00 PM WHEN THE JAM STARTS, THERE IS A GOOD CHANCE YOU WON'T PLAY. Make sure you have one or two tunes in mind and the key you want to play or sing them in. When in doubt bring a lead sheet!!
Michael Metz - Trumpet
Dan Kelly - Sax
Vic Romanelli - Guitar
Jamie Harrison - Piano
Ian Davis - Bass
Steve Arbuckle - Drums
