Immersed in blues, and drawing from the Great American song book, James has been invoking joy in the hearts of jazz aficionados for 30 years. Formerly a long time resident of Los Angeles, he has performed at the Sportsmen’s Lodge, The Money Tree, The Industry Café, Cabrini’s, Mr. B’s, Charley O’s, The Spot, Catalina’s, The Newport Beach Jazz Festival, and The Jazz Bakery. Since his arrival on the east coast, James has had the pleasure of performing at local spots like The Sahara, The Mad Monkfish, and Blue Portland Maine. Now, his vocal prowess will be featured at The Press Room, accompanied by Charlie Jennison on piano, Jim Lyden on bass and Gary Gemmiti on drums.
