Just as food is seen as medicine, so too is the breath. There is a direct connection between the breath and mental, emotional, and physical well-being. When breath techniques are applied consciously and with guidance, you can enter a deeply healing, balancing and empowering state.
This SOMA Breath session blends together powerful breathing exercises with the stress-relieving effects of different somatic movements, chanting, guided meditation, and heart-pounding music. The practice is based on the breathwork technique ‘SOMA Breath’ which, among other things, works to bring you into a healing state called Heart Coherence. In this state, your heart, brain and bodily systems begin to work together in a beautiful harmony to reduce stress and heighten your mental clarity, creativity, energy and intuition.
You are invited on a journey into deeper layers of yourself to connect with the source of peace, love and genuine power that is in your body at all times.
ABOUT THE TEACHER:
Sara Lystbæk is a SOMA Breath instructor, yoga teacher and former medical scientist who explores the depth of breathwork as a spiritual practice, while explaining and demystifying this practice with the modern language of science, to empower our modern lives. She works from the belief that our breath offers a vital gateway into seeing and acknowledging our deepest truth and finding peace, direction and fulfillment from within our being. She now teaches breathwork at festivals, studios, events and in companies and records guided breathwork journeys that are listened to around the world.
