Looking for a little bit of dance learning and practice to start off your week? Each Sunday Dance Snack will include one hour of learning on special topics (this month we'll work on how to add some playfulness to your urban kiz!) followed by an hour of practice.Who: You, of course! This class is open level, although it is recommended that you have taken at least a drop-in kizomba or urban kiz class to access the content of this month's class.
What: Hour-long, stand-alone dance classes on special topics (this month, again, focusing on urban kiz playfulness). Classes are $20 per class, with registration required by noon on Saturday, November 1st for the November 2nd class. Venmo @Laine-Anderson-2 to sign up and please specify whether you're taking the class as a lead or follow. We need at least six people registered in order to proceed with the class.
Where: Lowdown Ballroom (Capitol Hill)
When: 1:30-3:30 PM on Sunday, November 2nd
Refund/cancellation note: If you pre-register for class but then have to cancel, 24-hour notification is needed in order to be able to receive a refund.
About the instructor: Laine (she/her) has been dancing kizomba for let's just say a long time, and urban kiz for about seven years. She believes that the most beautiful dances feel gentle, accepting, and musical.
