Looking for a little bit of dance learning and practice to start off your week? Each Sunday Dance Snack will include one hour of learning on special topics (this month we'll work on musicality based on the melody of the song - often, but not always, the singer!) followed by an hour of practice.Who: You, of course! This class is open-level, although it is recommended that you have taken at least a drop-in kizomba or urban kiz class to access the content of this month's class.
What: Hour-long, stand-alone dance classes on special topics (this month, again, focusing on musicality). Classes are $20 per class, with pre-registration required by noon on January 25th. Venmo @Laine-Anderson-2 to sign up and please specify whether you're taking the class as a lead or follow.
Where: Lowdown Ballroom (Capitol Hill)
When: 1-3 PM on Sunday, January 26.
Refund/cancellation note: If you pre-register for class but then have to cancel, 24-hour notification is needed in order to be able to receive a refund.
About the instructor: Laine (she/her) has been dancing kizomba for let's just say a long time, and urban kiz for about six years. She believes that the most beautiful dances feel gentle, accepting, and musical.
