Most acoustic instruments esp string instruments welcome. Some percussion such as spoons, washboard as long as they are not too loud. Harmonica, accordion, recorder etc OK as well. We have a house bassist and not a lot of room so please ask before bringing upright bass, washtub etc.
Anybody is free to play along w all songs, and to call a song when it is your turn. ***PLEASE: Know your song! Be able to tell us the key (ie G, C, etc) and know the words if it has lyrics. No reading from phones, paper etc. This is about music as an oral tradition and exercising our minds and memories.***
