We meet monthly at Sunday Assembly to celebrate life together, which means celebrating successes and also (sometimes) learning from mistakes. This month we are thrilled to be joined by Russell Napier, Keeper of the Library Of Mistakes. This is a real thing! It's an economics library in Edinburgh's West End, a free-to-use public library dedicated to the study of financial history, with an outreach and education programme that includes courses, events and podcast. Russell is an entertaining speaker and will share some of the biggest (and funniest) economic mistakes over several centuries. And of course there will be our usual mix of singing great songs together with the house band, poems, reflections, chats, tea and cake and community all in a non-religious setting.
Get your Sunday off to an enlivening and enlightening start. Free to attend, family and dog friendly. Meet some great people, sing along and help yourself and others to Live Better, Help Often, Wonder More - that's Sunday Assembly.
Sunday 5 May 2024, 11.30am, Lifecare Edinburgh, 2 Cheyne St, Stockbridge EH4 1JB. Free to attend, family and dog friendly.
