This month's assembly will be about storytelling and we are delighted to welcome Amelia Ace Armande, a non-binary storyteller who became curious about the lack of queer characters in native English storytelling. They have been on an adventure to find and learn different LGBTQ+ myths & legends from across the world, as well as wondering why these stories may have disappeared from the English canon and how to save them.
And of course, we'll be getting suitably raucous with our usual singalong songs with generous portions of tea*, cake and friendly chit-chat immediately afterwards - so you can take time to make new friends and/or catch up with old ones.
Entry is completely FREE but we will be asking for donations. to cover costs and to support our charity of the month, a local youth creative writing charity: Little Green Pig
*Please bring a reusable mug for the tea or coffee
