Next Assembly, we say Don't Worry; Beer Happy!! 'A quart of ale is a dish for a king' wrote Shakespeare - and who are we to argue?! We will have the absolute pleasure of having a supremely delightful chap from Sunday Assembly's history, Rob Parker, who will be talking to us about beer! As an accredited beer sommelier (enticing alternative career path, hello!), Rob enjoys talking to people about beer, and will be sharing some surprising facts and interesting stories around and about the amber nectar. Money raised at this month's assembly will go to local charity, Brighton & Hove Food Partnership* @btnhovefood , whose work is to fight food waste & food poverty, and help everyone grow, cook & eat good food.

* money raised will be split 50:50 between the charity and Sunday Assembly (for running costs, hall hire, tea, etc)
** tins of food, dry packet food, toiletries, and so on to be distributed to Brighton food banks by us at Sunday Assembly :)

***** a wee treat for you fifth asterisk factoid loving beer fans: what differentiates an ale from a lager...? well, it's temperature and yeast: ale is brewed with a top-fermenting yeast at slightly warmer temperatures than lager, which is brewed with a bottom fermenting yeast.
