Nau mai, haere mai to our Sunday sessions - a weekly working bee for both experienced greenthumbs and total garden newbies at Dignan Street Community Garden in Pt Chev.We'll be planting, weeding, mulching, sowing seeds, having kōrero and working together to feed the soil and grow as much kai as possible. You'll meet friendly neighbours, get your hands in the earth and pick up some gardening tips. You're also welcome to take home a share of the harvest, and boy oh boy is our veg delicious.
All ages and stages welcome. Tools and equipment provided - just bring something comfortable to wear and work in.
We know it's a Sunday and we'll forgive you for being a bit dusty, but a bit of sunshine and fresh air is a great hangover cure ?
The māra kai is contagiously joyful. All are welcome. Mauri ora!
