About this Event
Join us for some meditative art. We will start with time to chat and catch up. Then we will move into some focused breathing and select card with your word on it. We will then move into the art practice. Each month will have an affirming theme and a specific therapeutic, relaxing art technique. The meditation art practice will take about an hour. When we finish there will be time to reflect and chat. This will not be a silent event, but I do ask that you arrive with a calm, relaxed spirit, with the hopes to indulge your soul.
There are multiple locations for the different days, so please be mindful when you are purchasing your ticket that you are selecting the correct date and location.
This months theme "I LOVE MYSELF FIRST" and we will focus on neurographic art. Neurographic art is a technique, which comprises of drawing freeform lines or 'neuro lines.' These are meant to enable the connection between the conscious and unconscious, gaining access to the inner self by using a specific algorithm or method.
This is an example of neurographic art. This is not what your piece of art will look like. Each persons art will end up looking completely different.
