Hey everyone! APEX Health and Wellbeing walk no. 13
Let's do Tandle Hill!
Our pledge is to get more walks in this year, helping more and more people enjoy the outdoors, get healthier and improve mental wellbeing.
Come join us on Sunday 19th Jan for a 6 mile walk to and through the beautiful Tandle Hill Country Park!
This amazing walk will have you enjoying beautiful views at the amazing War Memorial - overlooking most of Rochdale and Oldham
Lots of undulating terrain, rocks, mud, gravel, definitely get your winter boots on for this one!

⏰️ WHEN - 0830 - Sunday 19th January
⏳️ Set off 0830 SHARP - this means arriving slightly earlier and being ready for 0830 start - we always leave on time - if you're late, you'll be left behind - please be here on time - i'm sure you understand
📍WHERE - Limited on road parking outside 753 Rochdale Rd, Middleton, Manchester M24 2RA
🚗 PARKING: Onroad parking - Halifax Road
⏰️ DURATION - 10km - Upto 3 hours - 200m approx of elevation
🫂🫂 WHO - Beginner to Intermediate - fairly good at hiking/walking and are conditioned to variable terrain and weather ❄️🌧🌥🌤☀️
⚠️ If you bring DOGS OR CHILDREN - its at your own risk - please keep them on lead with you, we can not be responsible if they wander off, hurt themselves or in childrens case decide halfway theyre cant be bothered anymore ⚠️
This is our 13th hike as an organisation with about 13 more planned for the first quarter of 2025.
Through the help of donations we've managed to fund 2 trips - one to the Lake District and one to the Yorkshire Dales and we want to do more!!
