Up & back, with a bit of a loop
Approximately 2-2.5 hours long
This trail is rated MODERATE on the difficulty scale. There are a couple of stretches that are quite steep and strenuous.

There are restrooms at the park.
Bring plenty of water, wear appropriate clothing & shoes
Trail description: West Wing Mountain Loop starting at Westwing Park in Peoria, AZ. This loop includes the marked "loop" of 3.7 miles plus additional spurs to scenic views, alternative "extreme" route and short access from parking lot to official start. Trail is rocky due to volcanic basalt and tuff. Great neighborhood trail.
