Sunburst Races 2025 presented by KeyBank, is back to kick off summer in The Bend! Race day is Saturday, May 31, 2025. Sunburst is a special community event with a rich and long-standing history. This year we celebrate the 41st running of Sunburst Races. We are proud to be a race that brings together many of the same participants and volunteers year after year. Race weekend feels like a family reunion.
The Half Marathon begins at 7:00 a.m.; pacers are provided.
The Half (and all other events) will both start and finish at the Century Center in downtown South Bend (on the Jefferson Blvd. Bridge). Our new venue allows for a post-race party with activities and celebrations specifically tailored for adults and families.
Due to safety concerns, no strollers, joggers, wagons, baby carriers, etc. are allowed in the Half Marathon. The minimum age of participation is 10 years of age (on race day).
Sunburst will offer packet pickup on Friday, May 30 at the Century Center from 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Participants will be able to pick up their shirts and bibs and do some shopping before they lace up for Saturday/race day fun.
