Sunburst Races 2024 presented by KeyBank, is back to kick off summer in The Bend! Race day is Saturday, June 1, 2024. Sunburst is a special community event with a rich and long-standing history. This year we celebrate the 40th running of Sunburst Races; that’s right, the BIG 4-0! We are proud to be a race that brings together many of the same participants and volunteers year after year. Race weekend feels like a family reunion.
The 10K begins at 7:35 a.m.
The 10K (and all other events) will start and finish at the Century Center in downtown South Bend (on the Jefferson Blvd. Bridge). Our new venue allows for a post-race experience with activities and celebrations that are specifically tailored for adults and families.
Due to safety concerns, no strollers, joggers, wagons, baby carriers, etc. are allowed in the 10K. The minimum age of participation is 6 years of age (on race day).
Sunburst will offer packet pickup on Friday, May 31 at the Century Center from 12:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. Participants can pick up their shirts and bibs and do some shopping before they lace up for Saturday/race day fun.
