?✨Sun Prairie Witches Night Out: An Enchanted Evening of Magic & Mischief!
Gather the coven and hop on your broomsticks for a magical night in downtown Sun Prairie as we celebrate the “Season of the Witch!” This is your invitation to step into a world of enchantment, mystery, and community. Prepare to go on a quest, explore the shops of Sun Prairie, and find your own magic among the moonlit streets!
?♀️THE “WITCH WALK”
Visit each stop to find witchy items and get a stamp on your Enchanted Passport!
“The world’s greatest witches have come to visit Sun Prairie, but in all their mischief, they’ve misplaced their enchanted tools. We need your help to recover their lost items!”
Your adventure begins by picking up an Enchanted Passport at any participating location. As you wander through downtown, you'll embark on a thrilling “Witch Walk”, searching for the mystical items hidden within each shop, and helping famous witches like Glinda, Elphaba, Hermione, and Maleficent, and more recover their misplaced talismans in each location. When you find one of the lost magical tools, you'll receive a stamp on your Enchanted Passport. Every completed passport is a chance to win exciting prizes from generous local businesses! To enter, turn your completed passport in to any participating shop.
?THE “CARD CRAWL”
As you journey, each stop along your Witch Walk also features its own Oracle Card draw. You’re invited to select a card to receive a positive message of encouragement and guidance, with space on your passport to record the wisdom you find at each stop.

⛲️CANNERY SQUARE
The magic of the night extends into Cannery Square, where the community will gather for spooky fun!
⭕️Witch Hat Ring Toss
?Spooky Bag Toss
?Community Collaborative Art Project: help paint a giant pumpkin donated by a local farm! Use acrylic paint pens to decorate a section, and contribute to the bigger picture: a beautiful symbol of community. The finished collaborative pumpkin art will be displayed in Cannery Square throughout the season.
?The Witch of Cannery Square: the town square will be haunted by a friendly witch. Ask her to play a game of “Trick or Truth” if you dare!
?Listen closely for Halloween music filling the air, and be on the lookout for some familiar witchy figures! Paid actors, portraying famous witches from movies, will be roaming the streets, delighting guests with their magical hijinx and posing for pictures.
✨HOSTED BY THE OPTI-MYSTIC
The Opti-Mystic Metaphysical Shop & Tea Café, located at 101 E Main St, will be your enchanted home base for the night, where you can recharge and participate in a host of bewitching activities!
?Tarot Readings:
Tasha, owner of The Opti-Mystic and renowned intuitive tarot reader, will be offering $33 tarot readings, providing personalized guidance and insight to help guide your path.
?♀️Witch Hat Workshop:
Join us for a magical walk-in Witch Hat Workshop ($33.) You'll select a blank witch hat and a variety of materials, from ribbons and flowers to feathers and crystals, creating a magical custom piece of wearable art perfect for a last minute Halloween Costume or for everyday witchy adventures!
?Warm Your Bones:
The full tea café experience will be closed for this event, but master herbalist Ms. Tasha will be serving up soothing cups of her handmade?HOT APPLE CHAI-DER for only $3!
?Halloween Photo Booth:
Step into the Opti-Mystic’s Autumn Photo Booth for a quick pic with friends! You may use the booth for free or choose to have a $5 MINI PHOTOSHOOT with a ✨professional photographer!✨Once edited, purchased photos will be posted on our event page for guests to collect and enjoy!
?Witchy Shopping:
Peruse deals on The Opti-Mystic’s vast collection of teas, crystals, books, tarot & oracle decks, jewelry, healing herbs, incense, home decor, magical tools & more!
?Costume Contest:
Show off your spooky style! Guests of Witches’ Night Out are encouraged (but not required) to dress in their witchy or magical best! Our costume contest will be hosted at The Opti-Mystic's photo booth. Simply sign up with the photographer and get your photo taken to be entered. All photos will be posted on social media, where the town will vote for the winner. The lucky winner will be announced on Halloween!
