Sunkissed Hues Art Show Exhibition
Presented by Backfence Society and Vista Art Foundation, Sunkissed Hues invites artists to submit their work for just $25.00, with the option to showcase up to three pieces. Compete for cash prizes, and the People's Choice winner will receive a delightful gift basket. Join us in celebrating creativity and community!

By submitting your art to the Sunkissed Hues Art Exhibition, you agree to the following:
1) While the utmost care will be taken with all artwork submitted the Vista Art Foundation and The Backfence Society, its staff and volunteers or agents, and any exhibition jurors, if applicable, are withheld from any and all actions, suits, damages, claims, and demands whatsoever for any damage to art and/or personal liability. The Vista Art Foundation and Backfence Society and/or its agents accept no responsibility for losses due to damaged/broken/lost or stolen art. Artist accepts all responsibility for art submitted for exhibition.
2) There is an entry processing fee of $25 per entry. The limit on the number entries an artist may submit is 3 art pieces. Entry fee must be paid before or upon drop off of work to ensure inclusion in the show.
3) Artwork must be no larger than 24"x 30" in size. Installation of the show will be mostly indoors; however, some pieces may be temporarily hung on racks outdoors during the day of the festival. Work may be framed or unframed. Gallery wrapped canvas okay. Three-dimensional works are acceptable as are works in any medium or style as long as they are considered wall hangings and do not extend more than 6” in depth and are twenty pounds or less. ALL ARTWORK MUST HAVE A HANGING WIRE FOR SUSPENSION FROM RACK HOOKS. If artwork is unable to be installed on racks where display is planned, it may not be included in the show.
4) All pictures of Submission MUST BE EMAILED TO [email protected]. The Subject line should read: YOUR NAME - SUNKISSED HUES ART SUBMISSION
Digital scans of artwork must be high quality (high resolution .jpeg or .pdf) to be considered for promotional material regarding the art exhibition.
5) While the intent of the Vista Art Foundation and Backfence Society is to exhibit all submitted work, acceptance of artwork does not guarantee inclusion in the exhibition. Submissions will be reviewed by a judge during the Sunkissed Hues Art Show. If artwork is found not suitable for the show due to cohesion or following the theme, artwork may not be included in the show. Also, artworks not suitable for family-friendly audiences (overtly political, grotesque, illustrating drug use) may not be suitable for inclusion in the show.
6) To be considered for the exhibition, artwork must reflect the nature and theme of the show. Artists are invited to answer the title of the show: Sunkissed Hues. Artwork must be in good taste and suitable for all audiences. Artwork must look exactly the same as when photographed at time of entry. Artwork can be disqualified if changed or embellished after the official online submittal.
7) All works will remain in the exhibition until close of show. I, the artist, will be held responsible for the pickup of all unsold artwork by Sunday, August 4, between 12pm - 5pm. Any sold artwork is the sole responsibility of the artist.
8) The artist grants the Vista Art Foundation and The Backfence Society, Inc. permission to use submitted art for any promotional purposes, including printed material and/or online representations related to the exhibition or future exhibitions.
9) All submissions must be display ready. Art must arrive ready to hang with WIRE HANGING HARDWARE (no sawtooth hardware). If framed , professional, high quality durable framing is expected. If the Juror deems the art to be unsuitable for hanging, the art will be disqualified.
10) Purchase process: A donation to the Backfence Society of 20% of the selling price is suggested. Donations help to underwrite and continue future Backfence Society programs. Artist agrees to broker all sales.
