Critically acclaimed singer/songwriter/guitarist Billy Livesay spent twelve years performing with "The Big Man" Clarence Clemons in "Temple of Soul," during which time they recorded at the iconic Stone Pony concert venue and released "Live at Asbury Park" Volumes I & II, the second of which features "The Boss" Bruce Springsteen. The "New Jersey Vibe" has always been prevalent in Billy's original songs and arrangement of classic covers. Springsteen, in particular, has influenced Billy Livesay's music more than any other artist.
The Livesays, present The Bruce Tribute — a heartfelt celebration of Bruce Springsteen’s music and the artists and influences that shaped his legendary sound, including the soul of Motown. This isn’t an impersonation, but an authentic tribute that honors his legacy while sharing the emotional depth and energy of his timeless songs.
Having spent 12 incredible years performing alongside Clarence Clemons in Temple of Soul, and having appeared on a record with Bruce himself, Billy Livesay, brings a rare perspective to the stage.
