Summit of the Future

We are living in challenging fast-moving times of great change, progress, hope but also despair. Isaiah 60:1-3 speaks prophetically that if God’s people will “Arise and Shine” even in the midst of deep thick darkness in the earth because of the light and revelation they have received and are walking in, the glory of the Lord will appear and arise upon them, causing a powerful magnetic effect of “kings and nations” being drawn to the brightness of a new day of hope breaking forth through them.

Jeremiah 29:11 speaks of God having plans for His people to prosper and not harm them, and to give them hope and a future. Scriptures speak of the “leaves of the tree” being for the “healing of the nations.” Jesus gave us a mandate to “disciple nations” not only individuals. He also said we must “occupy” which means “do business” until He comes. It also says the “earth has He given to the children of men forever.” Revelation 11 also speaks on judgment coming to those who destroy the earth.

We as the sons and daughters of God have been given a great mandate and responsibility to steward God’s plans for the earth and the nations. We must partner with the Spirit of God to help shape the future by also shaping the next generation. That begins by us also being proactive and intentional in taking responsibility to “shape our lives” according to our calling, purpose and destiny, rather than letting the future shape it for us. God has called you to His Kingdom for such a time as this.

A summit is defined as the highest point of a mountain; the top of a mountain; a meeting or series of meetings between the leaders of 2 or more governments, ie an economic summit; the top most level attainable; the highest level of officials, ie diplomatic heads of state; a meeting at the summit; conference of high level leaders usually to shape a plan of action; the extreme point of something; the highest possible degree or state.

EPIC2025 will be such a summit/mountain top encounter. We are called to take our places as kings and priests in Scripture. We are to rule and reign with Christ - not just when we get to heaven, but now while we are walking out our destinies on earth.

EPIC2025 “Summit of the Future” will deal with the times we are living in and how we can maximize being “proactive” in “shaping our future” rather than “reactive” always waiting for things to unfold before we respond to them. We are people of faith, and we are people of the future. We have an Issachar prophetic perspective given us by the Holy Spirit to walk in to “understand” times and “know” what to do.

Our venue this year is not a hotel, so the follwing are a list of hotels in the area with appoximate prices for January 8-11. Our location is in Orlando/Kissimmee, Florida and the closest hotels would be in the Lake Buena Vista SOUTH area about 20 minutes away from the venue and about the same away from Disney. There are also many AirBnB places in the area. Please use Expedia.com, Hotel.com and Booking.com for best hotel prices.

1. Rates between $90-140 per night depending on room. Booking.com may have better rates. Unfortunately they do not have a restaurant, but IHOP and many other restaurants for breakfast and dinner are 5 minutes or so drive away. Nice facility. Most likely Apostle Axel Sippach and Apostle Melvin Thompson and other EPIC leaders will be staying here.
