Looking for a place to sing? The Summit City Singers, an SATB community choir, is beginning its fall season – “Christmas Melody? Christmas Medley? Both!”. From big band swing to classical – there’s something for everyone! There are opportunities for small group singing as well as singing in the whole choir of around 35 singers. Rehearsals are held at St. John Lutheran Church, 729 West Washington Boulevard, on Thursday evenings. Optional warm-ups begin at 6:30 PM and rehearsals are from 6:45 PM to 8:15 PM. There are no auditions required - just love to sing and be able to match pitch and you're good to go!We start our season with a carry-in at St. John on Sunday, September 7th from 5:30 PM – 7:30 PM where you will receive your folder of music along with a demo CD (downloads are available on our website). Rehearsals start the following Thursday, September 11th. Let us know if you have questions or, better yet, if you'd like to join us.
