Thursday, November 21 - Headliner Peter WhitePeter White is a clean, clever comedian who can create a unique show for all. He began in comedy in 2005 and was named one of the “Top 5 Up and Coming Comedians in Canada” by CBC Radio’s “So, You Think You’re Funny?” within a year. He’s premiered at clubs, corporate events and theatres across Canada, including performed at some of comedy’s top film festivals including the Just for Laughs Comedy Festival, Winnipeg Comedy Festival, Montreal Comedy Festival, and was at the Halifax Comedy Festival for three consecutive years.
He has an hour-long special for CTV and the Comedy Network’s Comedy Now. Peter has also established himself as a writer, working for the Gemini Award winning This Hour Has 22 Minutes and the Gemini Award Nominated That’s So Weird on YTV. He’s appeared with Pierce Brosnan in a television mini-series and has written and performed on CBC Radio One and XM Satellite Radio. His writing has been nominated for both a Canadian Comedy Award and a Writers Guild of Canada Award.
