SoCal Ivy Writers invites you to our Summer Writers Meetup
Our meetups are a relaxed, welcoming environment to mingle over drinks, share book recs, find beta readers, and complain about the publishing industry. If you’re interested, you can apply to join our monthly workshops! Plus, Der Wolf has plenty of space and games and is in the heart of beautiful Old Pasadena.If you’re looking for an excuse to put off finishing your novel, this is as good as it’s going to get.
What to Expect:
- A relaxed, welcoming patio space reserved just for us (out back at Der Wolf)
- Networking opportunities with fellow authors, poets, screenwriters, and creatives
- Book recommendations and lively conversations about craft and the industry
- The chance to find beta readers or critique partners
- Casual bar games for when you want a writing break
- Open to all genres, but especially for writers with a serious drive to improve
