Enjoy a five-course dinner prepared by Zehnder’s Professional Chefs, paired with a variety of wines presented by Great Lakes Wine & Spirits on Saturday, June 29, 2024 inside The Fortress’s brand new pavilion. Cocktails start at 5:30 pm and dinner is served at 6:30 pm.Menu Includes:
• Charcuterie Board – Selection of cured Meats & Artisan Cheese with dried Fruit & Preserves paired with a 2021 Banfi Rosa Regale Sparkling White Wine
• Minestrone with White Beans and Italian Sausage – Cannellini Beans, Italian Sausage, Tomatoes, Kale paired with a 2021 Tuscan Kiss Rose
• Italian Chopped Salad – Radicchio, Romaine, Genoa Salami, Artichoke Hearts, roasted Chickpeas, Orange Segments, Oregano, Citrus Vinaigrette paired with a 2022 Bertaini Due Uve
• Creamy Crab Gnocchi – Lump Crab, Gnocchi, Sweet Corn, Maitake Mushrooms, Thyme, Brown Butter, White Wine paired with a 2022 Bollini Pinot Grigio.
• Veal Ossobuco – Red Wine braised Veal Shank, Saffron Risotto, Rosemary Demi-Glace, Horseradish Gremolata paired with a 2021 San Polo Rubio Toscana
• Italian Zuccotto – Amaertto-soaked Cake with Ricotta, Chocolate and Coffee filling. Covered in Coffee Whipped Cream and toasted Almonds paired with a Santa Margherita Prosecco di Valdobbiadene Brut
