These 5-day intensives - Monday through Friday evening - are offered every summer, for beginners and experienced dancers alike, with local, national and international teachers. Beginner Hip Hop 5:30-6:30
Class Description: Learn the basic movements of hip hop through grooving. With lots of repetition you will feel more comfortable with your body and the movements as you connect to the music and get your sweat on!
Students can expect to get all the wild, sexy, pumped up moves of the Hip Hop world in a way that focuses on two things: having fun and getting sweaty!
Beginner Lyrical 6:30-7:30
Class Description: Lyrical/contemporary is an expressive dance style and focuses on conveying musicality and emotion through movement. Classes include warm up, cross floors (for learning new techniques), and choreography.
Inter/Adv Commercial Dance 7:30-8:30
Class Description: Commercial dance represents a wide variety of dance styles, including contemporary, jazz, sass, hip-hop, and more. This type of choreography is typically used for concerts/live-shows, music videos, commercials, movies, and TV. Commercial dance focuses on learning to perform with high energy, precision, and control, while still making the routines look fun and effortless.
