CaniX Summer Splash is a 3km race taking place on the flat grassy trails of Box End Water park. Tracing its way along the bank of the river Ouse the course heads to the top of the lake before heading back lakeside to the start and finish area. This year we are excited to announce that we have teamed up with Tri Dog to bring you the only Training camp to be held at the Tri Dog venue and with the event organiser. This will be an opportunity to practise essential techniques to shave vital seconds off transitions, and to tackle the technical parts of the bikejor route under the supervision of 2 experienced and successful bikejor athletes. A Swim with dogs session will take place on Saturday afternoon. Please note that with the exception of the swim session it is anticipated that training activities will take place without dogs.
We will be offering a package for those who wish to enter the CaniX race and the Tri Dog Camp. Separate race entries will be available. Stand alone entry to the Tri Dog camp will only be offered should capacity allow.
Camping is available on site, and should be booked via CaniX. Please note that numbers for the Training camp will be limited.
