About this Event
The official start of summer, the longest day and shortest night of the year in our hemisphere, the summer solstice has special significance in many practices, including in yoga.
We will be led in practice by Sylvie Ball, a local yoga teacher with many years of experience. The flow will be gentle & relaxing, suitable for all abilities. We will conclude with a guided relaxation honouring this special moment in time.
If you have a yoga mat, please bring it with you. We will have a limited number available for those who would like to borrow one. If you use blocks, etc, please bring them with you. We recommend that you check the weather and wear layers, if needed to stay warm, and also bring a blanket with you for relaxation. Wear comfortable, stretchy clothes that won't feel restrictive. Please bring some water with you to sip on throughout the session.
