Get Ready for an evening of the Supernatural in the Seaside Resort. The area of old Liscard Vale has long been associated to Witchcraft and was known locally as “Hells Brow”, and ancient Rock carvings depicting Sacrafices are said to be buried within the grounds of the old Tower Grounds which dates back to Medieval Times. The Local Legend of the Magazines Witch has been told for many Decades and it says that one of the unfortunate Witches of Liscard Vale is said to Haunt the nearby Public House previously known as The Black Horse.
Storytellers have passed down tales of Ghosts, legendary Smugglers, Secret Tunnels, Poldies (fairies) and epic sagas. From mystical stories of Witches to Mother Redcaps and her Smugglers, Children going to Liscard Vale woods were told to come home before dark, because that was when the Poldies came out. We have a full evening to enjoy Starting and finishing at the Historic Fort Perch Rock and New Brighton Beach to watch the sunset
