A Summer Solstice Journey into the vibrant aliveness of our purpose through the medicine wheel Dance... Meditate... Create... Celebrate... Ritual ~ with Jo Rockendorfer and Sue Andersen
There is a wildness under our skin which wants nothing more than to dance until our feet are sore, sing our beautiful grief into the rafters, and offer our bottomless cup of creativity as a way of life - Toko-pa
The Summer Solstice is a moment full of pure Yang, immersed in nature's way of blooming and buzzing and proliferating with abandon. In the same way, our inner energy is pulsing with peak potential.
Just as the Solstice is the out breath of the build up of Earth's energy and creation over the last months of Spring, we also sit with our basket of plenty, grateful for summers bounty.
This moment in time beckons for us to celebrate and live wildly amongst the beauty and creativity brought into our lives. And yet in the cacophony of midsummer we seek to find the still-point and call in our animal allies to illuminate our right action and alignment that supports our connection and contribution to the web of life.
Through the directions of the medicine wheel we come to understand and appreciate the allies and animal spirits that we can drawn on to flow more more easefully with life's changes and nature itself. Everything is in a state of transition. All change, all crises, all sacrifice, all deaths and all births reflect the archetypal power in nature.
The ability to move with the flow of change successfully is part of being a shapeshifter. The shapeshifter (Lyrical in 5Rhythms) is one who can relate to and adjust behaviours and energies to work and live with more grace.
You are welcome to join Jo Rockendorfer and Sue Andersen as we honour and celebrate the powerful energy of the Summer Solstice where our beautiful Earth tilts closest to the Sun and shines its fiery rays and intense warmth upon us. We will mark and honour this moment in time in community with ritual, dance, shamanic journeying, meditation, collage, and celebration.
