Join Denver Food Rescue in its mission to alleviate food insecurity and reduce food waste with its upcoming event, "Feeding People Not Landfills." This event is dedicated to raising awareness about food waste and its impact on our communities and the environment.
Denver Food Rescue invites you to celebrate the Summer Solstice as we move from a season of action to nourishment. Celebrate the upcoming harvest bounty with Colorado craft cocktails and tastings by the finest chefs and farmers in the metro area. All proceeds benefit Denver Food Rescue and support our mission to produce health equity with Denver neighborhoods.
Keynote Speaker: Robert Egger
Robert is a renowned social entrepreneur, author, and activist who has spent his career advocating for social justice and fighting food insecurity in America. He is the founder of the DC Central Kitchen, a groundbreaking social enterprise that has trained and employed thousands of individuals experiencing homelessness and at-risk individuals in Washington, D.C. In addition, he co-founded World Central Kitchen board of directors with chef José Andrés, an organization that has served millions of meals to people affected by natural disasters and other crises around the world.
