About this Event

Summer solstice is a day to celebrate and enjoy the bountiful gifts of nature.

It's time for gathering with family and friends, for picnics in the park under a warm summer sun and to also contemplate our relationship with nature, both outside and inside our homes.

Honouring the sun, the ancient love of fire and transformation that guides us all. We honour the Solstice, the Earth being at its closest to the sun, the longest day of the year with this event.

What is the Summer Solstice?

The summer solstice marks the longest day of the year, as well as a time to honour our connection with nature. It allows us to celebrate and reflect on what it means to be human, to live in this world we’re creating together.

It is a time for celebration and renewal, but also for reflection and contemplation, so let's take time to think about how we can love our world more in the coming year.

What to expect:

An evening of tapping into the natural energies of nature. We'll be getting back to basics on our connection with the sacred elements and the Earth herself, simply by getting back to our roots.

Deep meditation through a Sound Bath

Using Himalayan Bowls, Gong and Chimes to deepen out intentions.

Sound Therapy is a very powerful form of energy healing, that helps us rebalance our bodies frequencies. It has potential to help us recognise and release things that we are holding onto, reconnect to our true selves and become one with the universe. It can even activate spiritual awakening.

A fire ceremony

Fire is the oldest and most powerful force of nature. It represents energy, passion, and life

We will first do some fire gazing meaning we will be reading messages from this magnificent element, gaining intentions to set for the summer/year ahead.

A fire ceremony is a sacred ceremony in which you release the energy of your specific intention into the universe. It is said that Fire is the gateway to the Heavens as it carry's our messages through the air.. For this we will journal our wishes & releases onto paper, and dash the paper into the fire.

Tea/Cacao ceremony.

Cacao is a sacred plant known to open up the heart chakra. It releases inhibitions and fears and helps you become more relaxed and in touch with your inner self!

For those who don't like Cacao, as it has a very distinctive taste, I will be preparing some iced tea for this part.

We will be planting our main intention into the liquid and then feeling it activate within us with every sip we take.

Breath-work

Breathing is an essential function of the human body.

It makes possible the process of life: it's a necessary ingredient to being alive. Yet, taking intentional time to breathe deeply can be a powerful tool for awareness, relaxation and meditation.

This will be guided by the amazing Jenny Haynes who is also providing our Cacao :)

Celebrational Dance

Now for the magic to happen! Dance dance dance!

Dance as if our intentions have already been achieved! This will allow the manifestation magic to work. Dance in love, dance with joy and gratitude. Dance as if we are already happy with the outcome!

We will finish with a light snack while watching the sunset as we share out thoughts on the event, answering any questions etc..
