☀️ Summer Solstice Celebrations ☀️Join us to celebrate the sun & beginning of summer. Summer Solstice is on Friday 21st June, when the day will be the longest & the night at its shortest of the year.
Rough timetable of events…
? 18:00 Meet at Knightswood park pond for those who want to car share.
?️ 18:45 Arrive at the beach.
Set up & settle.
? 19:30 Mindful Movement
☀️ Surya Namaskar (sun salutations)
? Breath work & dip/swim
New people can come back out as quickly as the feel they need to. More experienced people are welcome to stay in as long they feel safe to.
? Fire Pit & Food.
? Summer Solstice Fire Ritual.
? Sunset is 22:07 however the sun will go behind the hills about 21:40.
We will likely pack up and leave about 22:00 but you are welcome to leave at anytime earlier if required.
⚠️ You are responsible for your own health & safety at all times.
? There will be an Honesty Box for those who wish to pay towards the coach led parts of the day.
Kit list:
? Comfortable clothing including plenty warm layers for after the water.
?♀️ Yoga Mat (we have a few to borrow if you don’t have your own).
?Comfortable water wear (anything from a bikini, swimsuit, shorts & t-shirt, or wetsuit).
? Wet feet are advised as it is a stony beach,
? Towels & robes.
? Something to eat (bbq or cold).
? Cold & hot drinks (for after the water).
? Camping chair for comfort if you have one.
? Midgie repellent in all forms.
