The days are still getting longer, California poppies are blooming, weeds are going to seed, and it’s time for another seasonal celebration!Join us and make your own adventure: take on some volunteer tasks, bring or eat some food, listen to some good music, bring your bike in for a tune-up, or just bask in the (?) June sun and enjoy the hubbub.
Here's a rough schedule of the day:
10am-12:30pm: Volunteer tasks:
12:30-2:30pm: Potluck lunch, tours, solarpunk ecodreaming and chill
Bring some food, grab a bite, and come hang with good folks and animals! Talk about the future you want to live in, make new friends and become better friends with old acquaintances, etc.
2:30-5pm: Moar volunteering, music open mic, fun projects!
Can't stop gettin' your hands dirty? Keep helping us improve the Makerfarm! There's endless projects to work on, including a solar-powered kiln, CNC plasma cutter, finishing a new workshop space, signage, making a map/self-guided tour pamphlet! Dream up something to help the farm and make it real!
OR
We'll set up a stage for you to perform. Bring your best self and show us what you got. All acts are welcome! We've got instruments (guitars, ukulele, drum set, keyboard, tuba, clarinet, tambourine, microphone, even a looper pedal!)
