Rejoice with us as we celebrate the sun reaching its zenith! At this time of maximum solar energy we will gather together and enjoy an uplifting ceremony brimming with creativity and joy as our ancestors would have done. Many of their greatest monuments were aligned to this solstice such as the Ring of Brodgar Callanish and Stonehenge.

Featuring skilled ceremonialists and bards from across the Devon tribe. We will be immersed by circle singing lead by Kiowa dances lead by Aluna Dance Temple - (Kate Dancer and  friends) as well as stories and songs performed by Adam Powell & Madeleine Honour.

This event is held within the Woodland Glade of the Dartington Estate. We suggest bringing a cushion or throw for your seat and to dress for warmth or coolness. We have versatile indoor and outdoor spaces refreshments and the warmth of the hearth-fire to cheer us.

A sober event suitable for ages 12+. Pre-booking required. Tickets are £16 / £22 per person depending on your means and we have a few £11 concessionary tickets available too. Book your seats here : https://app.workshop-angel.com/form.php?h=1&t=0&e=43b4ec6ea86ba429

Please note dogs are not permitted at this event.

Planning to be with us: You may arrive in the space from 6pm event starts at 6.30pm and as the ceremony will be in progress we ask you to arrive in your seat by 6.45pm. Allow yourself enough time to walk the short woodland path from the car park - details and directions: https://thewoodland.co/directions/
