Nurse Nellie Forbush (Mitzi Gaynor) of the U.S. Navy falls for middle-aged French plantation owner Emile De Becque (Rossano Brazzi), but recoils upon discovering that he's fathered two mixed-race children. When Nellie leaves him, the heartbroken Emile agrees to take on a dangerous espionage mission. In his absence, Nellie struggles to reconcile her prejudices with her love for him -- and after she spends time with his children and comes to care for them, fears that Emile may not return alive.
PALM SPRINGS GAY MENS CHORUS
Since 1999, PSGMC has given back to its community through anti-bullying grants, collecting household items and holiday children's holiday toys for Martha's Village & Kitchen, and singing at Desert AIDS Walk and the opening of the LGBT Community Center. In addition, the chorus has performed for PS Pride, Cathedral City LGBT Days, and Halloween Palm Springs on Arenas Road in addition to two full concerts per year in December and April. In November 2016, PSGMC was recognized as the Organization of the Year by Palm Springs Pride.

ROSEMARY GALORE
Rosemary Galore burst into the Palm Springs drag scene in 2019, winning her first competition and securing a cast member spot in one of best brunch shows in town! She went on to be featured monthly in Toucans Tiki Lounge's "Playgirls," garnered a reoccurring weekly show, and she elegantly walked in "New York Fashion Week 2020!"
Rosemary tackled the Covid Crisis with her wit, wigs, and style. She created two online weekly shows to bolster community spirits- "Rosemary Dearest," and "The Rosemary Galore Show." Currently she hosts her creation "PS Drag Brunch," Palm Springs’ hottest dim sum Sunday drag show, filmed a scene for the upcoming season of "Vanderpump Rules" and is now collaborating with PS Cultural Center for their "Saturday Night Sing-A-Long" and a new upcoming weekly show, "DRAG-O-RAMA!"
Rosemary believes in supporting the community she grew up in and works with several local non-profits to develop fundraising programming including Sanctuary Palm Springs, which benefits from a portion of each ticket sold at "PS Drag Brunch."
