Week 2: Artful Stitching (June 9th–12th)Let creativity and sewing collide in Artful Stitching Week! Campers will create stunning projects like appliqué wall hangings, embroidered tote bags, and patchwork cushions. This camp focuses on combining art with sewing techniques, teaching kids to express themselves through fabric and thread.
Some sample projects may include:
Appliqué wall hangings
Embroidered tote bags
Patchwork cushions
Fabric collage art
Skills Covered:
Appliqué techniques
Embroidery stitches
Color theory in fabric selection
Open to children ages 7-12. Space is limited to 8 campers each week.
Camps will run M-Th from 9AM-2PM
Please note, if your child is currently enrolled or has attended a previous sewing camp, we will do our best to adjust projects based on their skill level and projects to avoid potential duplicates.
Children should bring a water bottle, and a sack lunch each day. We will provide snacks and water. Please specify any allergies upon registration.
