About this Event

The Grogan Gallery is kicking off our first summer series with a conversation about adding fine art to your residential and commercial spaces with Interior Designer Victoria Sheffield of Victoria Sheffield Designs, Art Consultant Rebecca Rios of DPA Fine Art Consulting and Houston Baptist University Art Professor & artist Rachel Gardner.

Join us Wednesday, June 29th from 6-7pm at 7800 Washington Ave. Suite 450, Houston, TX 77007.

About the Panel

Victoria Sheffield - A native of Houston, Victoria Sheffield brings with her 25 years of interior design experience. Victoria studied at Texas Tech University School of Design and earned her Bachelor of Fine Art from the University of Houston, where she graduated with a degree in Interior Design and Art History. Victoria began her career in commercial design, focusing on the hospitality industry and higher education. She later expanded her portfolio to offer residential design. Today she provides high-end, interior and landscape design services in Houston and around the world.

Rebecca Rios - Rebecca Rios currently works an art consultant and advisor for DPA Fine Art Consulting, where she is responsible for discovering, designing, refining and implementing compelling and unique art installations in public, corporate, hospitality and residential spaces. Rebecca received her B.A. from the University of Texas in Art History. She also holds a certificate in Finance, Data and the Art Market from Sotheby's Institute of Art. Prior to her current position, Rebecca worked in various galleries and museums in Texas.

Rachel Gardner - Rachel Gardner currently serves as Assistant Professor, Visual Arts, at Houston Baptist University School of Fine Arts, where she leads the Sculpture program and teaches both graduate and undergraduate students. When she is not teaching, you may find her working on her own artwork at her home studio. Numerous galleries and museums such as San Angelo Museum of Fine Arts have featured Rachel's work in the past. Rachel holds a BFA in Art Education from Stephen F. Austin State University, and an MFA in Painting from Houston Baptist University.
