Amesbury Chamber of Commerce Summer Series Returns with Weekly Live Music and a Monthly Popup Market in the Upper Millyard.
The Amesbury Chamber of Commerce is thrilled to announce the return of our Summer Series, featuring live music Thursday nights in June, July, and August and new this year, a monthly popup market featuring many chamber member businesses.
The series will take place in downtown Amesbury with live music in the Al Capp Amphitheater. Residents and visitors alike are invited to come and enjoy an evening of fun and entertainment plus, plenty of delicious food and drink options with all of the downtown eateries within close walking distance.
This 2024 program is made possible in partnership with: Gould Insurance, Newburyport Bank, Aluxety, Anna Jaques Hospital and Amesbury Cultural Council.
*In the event of rain the music will be moved to an inside location and the market will be rescheduled.
Band bio:
Jumpstreet got their start around 1988 on Lions Mouth Road in Amesbury.
In addition to hundreds of weddings, the JumpStreet Band has been playing concerts, corporate parties, conventions, and fundraisers since the late 80's. Their highly polished level of musicianship and professionalism has made this band one of the most requested up and down the New England coast.
The JumpStreet Band excels at performing the best classic rock with energy and accuracy. JumpStreet members are also schooled jazz musicians thus come complete with a huge song repertoire tailored to customer preferences no matter what the preferred musical genre. With the winning combination of top musicianship, years of experience, and classy stage presence, the band is sure to get and keep your clients, staff, and employees groovin’ on the dance floor!
Former and present members of the JumpStreet Band have appeared or performed with a wide berth of nationally known acts including Carly Simon, The Fools, Chubby Checker, The Chiffons, Extreme, Martha Reeves and the Vandellas, The Fifth Dimension, The Four Tops, The Temptations, The Spinners, Brad Delp of Boston, The Drifters, Alicia Keys, Kenny Loggins and many more.
