Join us for our summer series of Second Thursday Birding Hikes! We take a break from our monthly chapter meetings during June, July, and August to just enjoy some birding together. This month we will be meeting early at 5:30pm for a picnic to unveil and celebrate the updated WCAS bird feeding station at the Pilcher Park Nature Center. Bring your own meal and hang out together prior to our regular summer birding hike at 6:30. We will be walking around 2 miles on dirt paths. Expect to see woodland songbirds, many woodpecker species including the Pileated Woodpecker, early fall migrants, and possibly owls!
