FoGP welcomes Nurit Katz, FoGP’s Raptor Study Urban Ecologist and Educator at the Institute for the Environment and Sustainability at UCLA, who will share some amazing raptor rescue stories that took place over several observation seasons. Nurit will also discuss some of the threats facing urban hawks, owls and falcons, as well as stories of rehabilitation and resilience.
In addition to wearing multiple hats, Nurit has been instrumental in providing transportation to and from the Ojai Raptor Center for injured raptors of all sorts.
