Make & Take Telescope Camp9:00 a.m.-12:00 Noon, Monday-Friday, June 10-14, 2024
The telescope is one of many indispensable tools of the astronomer. With instruction and assistance from Imperial Centre science education staff, participants ages 7-12 years of age will build and learn how to operate their very own refracting telescope, useful for observing the moon and other celestial targets. Hands-on activities will include a variety of different telescopes, moon maps, and star charts, as well as other observing techniques and equipment. Drop-off and pick-up are at the Children’s Museum & Science Center 2nd Floor Classroom.
