$Summer Rock\/Jazz Styles Camp$

This camp is designed for students of all ages and ability levels and incorporates music of many groove-based styles from jazz to rock to blues to anything else. Kirk Reese and Jason Mescia have extensive experience in performing in groove-based groups of all kinds. Camp participants will also learn about the history of these styles of music and music theory. Participants will be divided into group based on their level of experience. Each group will get to work with each teacher. There may also be some special guest instructors as well. This camp will conclude with a final performance and pizza party.
Also, each camper will receive a camp t-shirt. Lunch is not included (Except for the final day of camp) so students can pack a lunch each day or (with parental permission) purchase lunch at any of the eateries in town.
