Resolve to Read! Join us for a celebration of the arts. The Rhythm & Rhymes ™ Summer Reading Kickoff Party, which focuses on the theme, “All Together Now,” will stories and songs together.
Rhythm & Rhymes ™ Storytime is an artistic response to early literacy development and the 1000 Books Foundation's call to promote parent and child bonding through reading. The interactive exhibition explores the vital importance of music and movement and nursery rhymes through the lens of librarianship and live music. The June 1st program will serve as a Summer Reading Challenge and will take place from 11:00 to 12:00 PM.
To help you reimagine your library, the Library Out Loud program will include Rhythm & Rhymes Storytime starring librarian Lisa Love and award-winning author Eric Litwin. Access to the storytime concert is free and audience members may reserve a Culture Pass to reserve a complimentary admission ticket. When you register, you will have the option to request a book bundle from Central Library, purchase the featured books from Scribes & Vibes Bookshop, or contribute to the adopt a book program. You do not have to place a book bundle on hold, purchase a book, or make a monetary donation to attend in-person storytime events or virtual storytime visits, however, reservations for the June 1st storytime concert are required.
Reserve your seat now, then prepare to join us for a morning filled with library fun. It is free and open to the public and patrons are free to use public paid parking, rideshares, and/or Marta.

MOBILE TICKETING & REGISTRATION TYPES
Culture Pass:
The "Culture Pass" serves as our general admission ticket. Your general admission ticket will allow you to join us during the National Library Week Storytime at Central Library. This ticket provides an opportunity for you to secure free tickets to the library program.
Backstage Pass:
The "Backstage Pass" serves as our book bundle ticket. Your book bundle ticket will allow you to attend the storytime and enter the pop-up library line. This ticket type provides an opportunity for you to meet the children's librarian and pick up a pre-bundled stack of books.
PRE-ORDER BOOKS
To purchase copies of the books featured during this storytime event, you may visit the Scribes & Vibes Bookshop or select a home library ticket with your Eventbrite registration. Copies of the books will be available for purchase online only. Books delivered to your home library will not be signed or personalized.
Proceeds from your book purchase(s) will benefit the Atlanta-Fulton Public Library Foundation.
Refunds:
There will be no refunds, all sales are final.
